Tricall App Privacy Policy

Effective date: [January 2026]. Version 1.0.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Tricall is operated by Trikon Pty Ltd (ABN 47 124 822 591), 12/5 Meridian Place, Bella Vista NSW 2153, Australia ("Tricall", "we", "us", "our").

This policy applies to the Tricall mobile app for iOS and Android. It explains what the app collects, how we use it and the choices you have. The wider Tricall service, including the web portal, is covered by our Tricall Privacy Policy. We comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

For information about people who call, or are called by, a business using Tricall, that business decides how it is used and we handle it on their behalf.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service.

Device permissions. The app only asks for a permission when you use a feature that needs it, and you can turn it off at any time in your device settings:

  • Camera: to take a photo and add it in the app, for example to a job, a customer record or your profile.
  • Photo library: to choose existing photos to add in the app. We only access the photos you select.
  • Files and documents: to upload files or documents you choose. We only access the files you select.
  • Notifications: to alert you to new calls, messages and bookings, including when the app is in the background.

The app does not currently access your microphone or record your voice. Calls are made by the AI assistant from our cloud platform, not from your phone.

We do not collect precise location, health data from your device, or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create and manage your account and sign you in;
  • have your AI assistant dial the numbers you add, answer calls, take messages and book jobs;
  • show you call records, transcripts, summaries, jobs and customers in the app;
  • send service notifications, such as new call alerts and account notices;
  • keep the service secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and fix bugs and crashes;
  • respond to support requests; and
  • meet our legal obligations.

What we do not do. We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising. We do not use your call content, business records or customer data to train our own or any third party's general-purpose AI models. We send you marketing emails only if you agree, and every email has an unsubscribe link.

4. AI processing and third-party AI providers

Tricall's AI voice assistant makes and answers calls from our cloud platform. During those calls, call audio and text are sent to third-party AI providers for speech-to-text, language understanding (a large language model) and text-to-speech. The same providers produce the transcripts and summaries you see in the app. The app itself only displays this information and sends us the numbers you want called.

Provider type What it does Data sent
Voice AI platform Runs live calls for the Tricall service Live call audio, transcript
Speech-to-text, language model and text-to-speech providers Convert speech to text, understand requests, generate replies, summaries and the assistant's voice Call audio, transcript, reply text

These providers are bound by contract to use the data only to provide the service to us, to keep it confidential and secure, not to keep it longer than needed to return a result, and not to use it to train their models.

Your consent in the app. When you first add numbers for the assistant to call, the app tells you that call data is processed by third-party AI providers and asks you to agree.

Numbers you add. You are responsible for making sure you are allowed to contact the numbers you add, including under the Spam Act 2003 and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 where they apply. The assistant tells each person at the start of the call that they are speaking with an automated assistant and that the call may be recorded.

5. Who we share information with

7. Storage, security and retention

8. Deleting your account and data

You can delete your Tricall account and associated data at any time:

When you delete your account we delete your profile, business records, customer records, photos, files, call recordings, transcripts and summaries within 30 days. Some records are kept longer where the law requires, and are then deleted.

You can also delete individual call records, customer records, photos or files in the app without closing your account.

Deleting the app from your device does not delete your account. Deleting your account does not by itself end your Tricall service agreement; contact us to change or end your plan.

9. Your rights and choices

You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw consent to AI processing or marketing at any time. We respond within 30 days.
